Trackbacks - glue of the blogosphere- an example

My slide "worth a thousand words" on the concept that Intranet is a process triggered some comments (all agreements!) and some interlinking in the blogging world.

One is here at Stephen's Lighthouse: "Process, process - ongoing and organic"
He picked up on it from Dave Hook, The Industrial Librarian, who linked to it here: "Intranet is a process
Another mention here at Mitchell WordPress.
But above all thanks, James, blogger of the widely read Column Two, (News and opinion on all things KM & CM) who linked to it in the true spirit of the blogsphere, that's to say using trackback. Intranet is a process.

It's bloggers like James who make the blogosphere what it is: an inter-meshed world where we can follow ideas and flows around the world. Trackback is one of the most powerful features of the blogging world. It links posts on different blogs together. It lets readers discover an idea, then see how other bloggers have responded to it.
It is a true CONTENT management system in that it links related content together regardless of its source.

Imagine the power of trackbacks in the private blogosphere of your organization!
